WTF is Womb Fury?!
Womb Fury is a sixteenth century condition, whereby the womb is believed to move about the woman’s body, causing hormonal havoc, making her ‘hysterical’ and generally not behave in a manner appropriate for a lady.
It’s not really related to fibroids but my womb seems pretty furious to me, so I’m repurposing the term.
“Sorry darling, I have Womb Fury this evening” seems a much politer way of letting a special someone know nuthin special will be happening tonight than my previous mantra of “I’m a bit bleedy today” *wince*
